Gandhinagar Sthapana Divas: 2nd Aug 1965

The establishment of Gandhinagar City, the capital of Gujarat, has completed 58 years today. Gandhinagar, the planned and most beautiful city after Chandigarh, has established a special identity in terms of greenery. In a short span of time, this city has achieved so many achievements, on which everyone is proud today.

City Plan Approved by Morarji Desai

Today, if a plan has to be passed, it takes months. At the time of the construction of Capital City, Finance Minister Morarji Desai had approved many works by placing chairs at various places. Gandhinagar is also an example of this.

Gujarat was born; before that, Mumbai was the capital. Because of this, there was development in Central Gujarat and South Gujarat, but North Gujarat differed. If the capital city is built towards North Gujarat, then North Gujarat can benefit; this place was also selected from that point of view.

How Many Sectors are there in Gandhinagar?

As everyone knows, Gandhinagar is known as a green city. Gandhinagar Was built on 2 Aug 1965. While building Gandhinagar City, the Government decided to build 30 (Thirty) sectors in Gandhinagar.
