He was born on 12 April 1962 in Dudhala, a small industrial village of Amreli district of Gujarat, he was not particularly interested in learning since childhood, so his studies could only be done up to 5th standard.

Savjibhai Dholakia, who started a business partnership with Pragjibhai with 3900 rupees borrowed from his father, today took his business to a different height.
One such city in Gujarat which is known as Diamond City is known as Surat. Due to a lack of any special education in childhood, at 12, he started working in a small factory in Surat to rub diamonds. He was being paid Rs 180, but due to his interest in work and hard work, I reduced his salary to Rs 1200.
Savjibhai completed his 10 years as a diamond polishing job, and with this 10 years of experience became a diamond expert himself, there in a few communities he found diamonds with two brothers (Tulsi and Himmat) and some friends from his own home. Started a rubbing job.

Along with this, his brothers also began to meet and Savjibhai himself became an expert in the diamond market, so his lack of education did not hinder him.
After opening an office in Mumbai, his business was able to reach a new height, whose business today has reached 6000 crores, today he supplies his diamonds to more than 75 countries and Hari Krishna Diamonds has its offices in more than 7 countries.
His thoughts on charity:
Today, Savji Bhai is known for giving many small and big donations and gifts, like giving cars and flats to his employees as bonus, then helping a good God or poor needy people with an open heart.
According to Savjibhai told him in an interview, from his childhood, that is, even by his father, there is a practice in a house that he himself donates 10-20 taka of his total earnings to charity. Most of them continue to donate and help people. However, he also believes that the more you give to people, the more you will get in return.
