The Tourism Minister Mulubhai Bera has virtually inaugurated the ‘Samudri Seema Darshan’ initiative in Lakki Nala, close to Koteshwar Mandir in Kutch. The launch event saw the physical presence of the local MLA and the district collector.
Samudri Seema Darshan Project Overview
This initiative, managed by the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd (TCGL), marks the second border tourism project in the region, following the successful Nadabet border tourism project near Banaskantha. The Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) will operate boat services to enable tourists to visit the coastal border between India and Pakistan.
Boat Services at Samudri Seema Darshan Koteshwar
- Boats with 6, 12, and 20 seating capacities will be available for tours, with a 6-seat boat commencing operations today.
- Operations will be adjusted according to the high and low tides.
Restricted Area Now Open at Samudri Seema Darshan Koteshwar
Previously, the area was off-limits to the public and only accessible by the Border Security Force (BSF) and other security agencies.

Collaborations and Attractions
The project involves collaboration between tourism, BSF, forest, and GMB. Future attractions will include boat rides, island visits with mangrove forest tours, and mangrove safari visits. Boat rides can be booked at Lakki Nala and the Torah Hotel at Narayan Sarovar.
This initiative aims to enhance border tourism by offering unique experiences through maritime adventures and promoting the natural and strategic significance of the coastal areas near the India Pakistan border.
